Tips for Families

Sing songs to your child or listen to songs on the radio together. Help your child make body movements that go with the words or make up your own songs about something you are doing or that your child is interested in.

Tips for Teachers

Clap a rhythmic pattern. Have children imitate the pattern. Continue adding other actions for the children to imitate. Add snapping, drumming, stomping, and tongue clicking.
